Study Subjects for Federal Government BEA Scholarships.

Undergraduate: Biotechnology, Architecture, Engineering, Geology, Agriculture, Sciences, Mathematics, Languages, Environmental Sciences, Sports, Law, and Social Sciences;

Postgraduate: Masters and Doctoral degrees in all subjects.

Criteria and Qualifications.

For those pursuing an undergraduate degree:

1. Those applying must be Nigerians.

2. Undergraduate scholarships require all applicants to have at least seven (7) Distinctions (As & Bs) in Senior Secondary School Certificates (WASSCE/WAEC) (May/June) in subjects that are directly related to their fields of study, such as English Language and Mathematics.

3. The maximum age of a certificate for non-African countries is two (2) years (2022 & 2023), while for African countries, the maximum age is one (1) year (2023).

4. There is a 17–20 age range.

Candidates for postgraduate

1. Must be Nigerians.

2. To be eligible for postgraduate studies, candidates must possess a first degree with a first class ranking or at least a second class upper division.

3. The age limit for Masters and Ph.D. programs is 35 and 40 years, respectively,

4. All applicants must have completed the N.Y.S.C. program.

5. Only N.Y.S.C. discharge or exemption certificates are acceptable, together with proof that an employer is prepared to release you.

Mode of Application.

1. Go to the Federal Scholarship Board part of the Federal Ministry of Education’s website.

2. Carefully read the guidelines.

3. Fill out the application online.

4. Print the filled-out form for your records.
